In this context, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Alsalam University is organizing a workshop titled:

“Sustainable Pharmacy: A Strategic Approach to Integrating Sustainability into Research, Education, and Practice.”

The event is held under the patronage of Prof. Dr Abdel Fattah sadakah,- University President, and Prof. Dr Mokhtar Mabrouk, Vice President of the University and Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

The workshop is delivered by Dr Rajaa Magdy,

* Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy; Director of the Sustainable Development Office at Ahram Canadian University,

* Head of Student Activities at the same university,

* Member of the Sports Sustainability Committee in Sharjah, UAE.

The session will explore how sustainability principles can be integrated into pharmaceutical education, scientific research, and professional practice, with a focus on improving resource efficiency, reducing pharmaceutical waste, and supporting more responsible and sustainable clinical decisions within healthcare systems, in line with global trends in the development of the healthcare sector.

The workshop will be held on Sunday, April 26, at 11:00 AM at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine Seminar Hall at the University.

مع تزايد الاهتمام العالمي بتطوير الممارسات الصحية وتقليل الأثر البيئي داخل القطاع الدوائي، أصبحت الاستدامة أحد أهم الاتجاهات الحديثة في علم الصيدلة.

في هذا الإطار، تنظم كلية الصيدلة بـ جامعة السلام ورشة عمل بعنوان:

«الصيدلة المستدامة: نهج استراتيجي لدمج الاستدامة في البحث والتعليم والممارسة».

وذلك برعاية السيد الأستاذ الدكتور/ عبد الفتاح صدقة -رئيس الجامعة-، والسيد الأستاذ الدكتور/ مختار مبروك -نائب رئيس الجامعة و عميد كلية الصيدلة-.

وتُحاضرها الدكتورة/ رجاء مجدي

* أستاذ مساعد بكلية الصيدلة ومدير مكتب التنمية المستدامة – جامعة الأهرام الكندية،

* رئيس الأنشطة الطلابية – جامعة الأهرام الكندية،

* عضو لجنة الاستدامة الرياضية – إمارة الشارقة، الإمارات العربية المتحدة.

وتتناول الورشة كيفية دمج مبادئ الاستدامة في التعليم الصيدلي والبحث العلمي والممارسة المهنية، مع التركيز على تحسين كفاءة استخدام الموارد، وتقليل الهدر الدوائي، ودعم قرارات علاجية أكثر وعيًا واستدامة داخل المؤسسات الصحية، بما يواكب التوجهات العالمية في تطوير القطاع الصحي.
