Business Plan

The session was delivered by Eng. Youssef Mohamed Sakr -Teaching Assistant at the American University in Cairo and CEO of Emaar Delta for Asset Management-, who discussed the concept of a business plan as a strategic tool essential for transforming innovative medical ideas into executable projects, such as establishing specialized medical centers, developing digital health applications, or providing smart healthcare services.

In a more applied context, the discussion explored the key steps involved in preparing a professional business plan, beginning with an analysis of healthcare market demands and patient or provider segmentation, followed by financial planning and revenue forecasting, and culminating in defining a clear vision for sustainable project growth amid the rapid advancements in the healthcare sector.

Concluding his presentation, Eng. Sakr highlighted the importance of integrating medical expertise with entrepreneurial insight, noting that innovation in the medical field extends beyond scientific discoveries to encompass the design of business models that enhance both the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery.
