Under the patronage and presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Sadakah -President of the University-, the event opened with a warm and heartfelt speech in which he expressed his pride in welcoming a new generation of creative minds to the university family. He emphasized that excellence begins with passion, and that Alsalam University stands as a supportive home accompanying its students throughout their journey of creativity and knowledge.

In his address, Prof. Dr. Sherif Abu El-Saadat -Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts-, noted that studying applied arts is not merely an academic pursuit, but rather a journey of aesthetic and intellectual growth, aiming to prepare designers who can transform ideas into tangible realities, blending artistry with technology and responding to the evolving demands of both local and global markets.

Throughout the session, students were introduced to the academic and practical aspects of study within the faculty and explored an engaging presentation on the Interior Design and Furniture Department. The presentation highlighted the department’s diverse areas of focus, including interior architecture, furniture design, and commercial, touristic, and healthcare design, among other specializations that shape everyday living spaces.

Students also had the chance to witness outstanding student projects and animated design presentations, showcasing their remarkable digital design skills and their ability to turn imagination into immersive, realistic experiences.

The session concluded with an inspiring message from the Dean, encouraging students to make every university experience a step toward building a bright professional and artistic future, reminding them that true distinction is born from dedication, and that creativity flourishes through passion and continuous growth.

في أجواء تفيض بالحماس والطموح، استقبلت كلية الفنون التطبيقية جامعة السلام طلابها الجدد في اللقاء التعريفي الثالث، بهدف التعريف بـ قسم التصميم الداخلي والأثاث، أحد أكثر الأقسام تميّزًا وإلهامًا في الكلية.

تحت رعاية وحضور الأستاذ الدكتور/ عبد الفتاح صدقة -رئيس الجامعة-، بدأ اللقاء بكلمة دافئة عبّرت عن اعتزازه بانضمام نخبة جديدة من المبدعين إلى أسرة الجامعة، مؤكدًا أن طريق التميز يبدأ بالشغف، وأن جامعة السلام ستكون الحاضنة التي ترافقهم في رحلتهم نحو الإبداع والمعرفة.

ومن جانبه، أشار الأستاذ الدكتور/ شريف أبو السعادات -عميد الكلية- إلى أن دراسة الفنون التطبيقية ليست مجرد مسار أكاديمي، بل هي رحلة وعي جمالي وفكري، تهدف إلى إعداد مصمم قادر على تحويل الفكرة إلى واقع، يجمع بين الفن والتقنية ويواكب احتياجات سوق العمل المحلي والعالمي.

تعرّف الطلاب خلال اللقاء على طبيعة الدراسة الأكاديمية والعملية في الكلية، واطّلعوا على عرضٍ شيّق حول تخصصات قسم التصميم الداخلي والأثاث، بما يشمله من العمارة الداخلية، وتصميم الأثاث، والتصميم التجاري والسياحي والعلاجي، وغيرها من التطبيقات التي تمسّ تفاصيل الحياة اليومية.

كما أُتيحت لهم فرصة مشاهدة نماذج إبداعية من مشاريع طلاب القسم وأفلام أنيميشن عكست احترافية عالية في التصميم الرقمي، وقدرة مبهرة على ترجمة الخيال إلى واقع ملموس.

واختُتم اللقاء بتوصياتٍ ملهمة قدّمها عميد الكلية، دعا فيها الطلاب إلى أن يجعلوا من كل تجربة جامعية خطوة نحو بناء مستقبلهم المهني والفني، مؤكدًا أن التميّز لا يتحقق إلا بالالتزام، والإبداع لا يولد إلا من الشغف والسعي المستمر نحو التطور.
