Faculty of Pharmacy, Al-Salam University in Egypt has been established to provide an effective academic environment that provides educational and student services that enables the preparation of pharmaceutical candidates capable of innovation, creative thinking and leadership that can deal with modern technologies and improve educational practices in accordance with national and international academic accreditation standards.

Welcome to the Faculty of Pharmacy at Alsalam University, established on July 12, 2023, by Ministerial Decree No. 1920. The faculty adopts an innovative academic model to empower pharmacists in patient care, healthcare delivery, and collaboration with medical teams. With a vision to lead in pharmacy education locally and globally, the faculty focuses on graduating highly skilled professionals, fostering innovation, and meeting industry advancements. It builds partnerships to provide students with training and job market exposure, aligning with Alsalam University’s mission. The faculty of Pharmacy – Al Salam University seeks to be a pioneer in developing pharmaceutical services dedicated to serving patients and developing the society at the local, regional and the international levels.
The faculty of Pharmacy – Al Salam University is committed to provide high-quality education to graduate pharmacists to be able to compete locally, regionally and globally, while focusing on scientific research and its applications with the aim of serving the community and supporting sustainable development.

Strategic Goals of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Al Salam University (2022–2027)
Goal 1: Support and Develop Institutional Performance of the University
- Develop and announce an approved strategic plan for 2022–2027.
- Establish a comprehensive implementation plan with goals, outcomes, and success indicators, along with a timeline.
- Implement a mechanism for monitoring and evaluating the execution of the university’s strategic plan.
- Work on improving institutional performance and the university’s competitive standing.
Goal 2: Complete, Develop, and Establish University Buildings and Facilities
- Complete all university faculty buildings, laboratories, and lecture halls according to the specified timelines.
- Expand sports activities and prepare designated areas for students to change clothes while engaging in sports activities.
Goal 3: Develop the Information and Communication Technology System
- Implement information systems that support decision-making.
- Establish digital libraries within the university.
- Enhance the university’s information network and connect it to global information networks.
- Apply an electronic performance evaluation system in educational institutions.
- Collaborate with top research centers in Egypt and abroad to benefit from published research.
Goal 4: Support and Develop Abilities and Skills of the Faculty Members and the Academic Leaders
- Build distinguished teaching staff and enhance their skills.
- Develop programs to prepare academic and university leadership cadres.
- Encourage faculty participation in national and international projects.
Goal 5: Enhance Faculty Research and Scientific Publishing According to National and International Standards
- Improve services provided by university departments and specialized units to support faculty members’ needs.
- Allocate and approve a budget for scientific research.
- Provide incentives for international publication and intellectual property protection.
Goal 6: Develop University Financial Resources and Physical Capabilities
- Activate specialized units to meet labor market needs.
- Establish service complexes within the university.
- Optimize financial resources by reviewing tuition fees and expenditures.
- Improve services offered by university faculties and community service centers.

Goal 7: Develop and Update Educational Programs to Align with Labor Market Needs

Goal 8: Improve Teaching and Learning Methods and Enhance Evaluation and Examination

Goal 9: Strengthen Students' and Graduates' Competitiveness in the Labor Market
- Enhance students' skills and competencies according to labor market requirements.
- Implement a student parliament simulation model in each faculty.
- Establish and activate a unit that connects students and graduates with local, regional, and international labor markets.
- Organize public lectures with political and intellectual leaders to foster national belonging and loyalty.

Goal 10: Establish a Center for Creativity and Scientific Research
- Create a scientific research center to manage and integrate research and innovation efforts within the university.
- Support a pioneering and comprehensive system for leading and supporting research in the university, serving as a model for other institutions.
- Maximize the utilization of research centers, projects, and laboratories with trained human resources.
- Implement the university's research plans and encourage interdisciplinary research groups at local, regional, and international levels.
- Facilitate communication between research centers and relevant institutions to support multi-disciplinary research plans.
