Job Requirements

  • BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
  • Previous university experience is preferred.

Job Description

  • Managing warehouses in accordance with the university’s policies and vision.
  • Supervising receiving and storage operations.
  • Ensuring effective use of storage space.
  • Implementing approved operational policies and procedures electronically and in paper format.
  • Complying with all regulatory requirements regarding storage, handling, and shipping.
  • Adhering to occupational health and safety standards and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Managing inventory control and ensuring compliance with the data storage system.
  • Preparing the annual budget for the management.
  • Planning work schedules, appropriately assigning tasks, and evaluating results.
  • Participating in the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, and motivation of employees.
  • Regularly preparing reports and statistics (incoming/outgoing status report, obsolete items report, etc.).
  • Receiving feedback and monitoring the quality of services provided.
  • Solving work-related issues within the management.
  • Supervising all operations completed within the main and branch warehouses.
  • Responsible for periodic and surprise inventory checks covering both main and branch warehouses.
  • Carrying out any other tasks and assignments delegated by senior management.

Needed Competency

  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases (ERP )
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
  • Excellent communication skills
