Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting Department
- Previous university experience is preferred.
Job Description
- Receiving and coding the items in purchase orders, whether they are regular items or new items.
- Recording the items in the purchase order and entering them into the accounting software.
- Receiving the goods under inspection and performing technical inspection procedures with the inspection committees.
- Adding the accepted items to the warehouse inventory and processing the issuance to the requesting parties.
- Executing the issuance of goods from the warehouses, which is for all university departments.
- Conducting a inventory of rejected items in the warehouses and adding them to the warehouse reports.
- Matching the incoming items in the delivery note with the addition note regarding quantities and standard units.
- Conducting random periodic inventory checks on each warehouse.
- Maintaining a file on the computer that contains all issued vouchers and creating paper files for these vouchers to be archived in the personal custody archives.
- Following up on the archive and creating a record for each of the inspection reports, issuance notes, addition notes, returns, and purchase orders, as well as monitoring the custody files for university employees, building custodians, and librarians and comparing them with the Excel file against the paper file for the employee’s receipts.
- Preparing a report of the daily inventory activities.
- Performing any other assigned tasks and duties as delegated by upper management or the administration manager
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the warehouse to prevent the appearance of any insects or rodents inside the warehouse.
- Establishing a system for safety and protection by developing a plan to prevent any accidents, such as installing fire detection devices and fire extinguishers.
Needed Competency
- Previous experience in warehouse operations and related procedures.
- Ability to pay attention to detail in daily operations.
- Strong organizational skills and time management.
- Proficiency in using computers (Warehouse Accounting Software – Office Programs).
- English language proficiency: Good.
