New Era in Electrotherapy: Tissue Healing and Recovery Tecar and High Power Laser Therapy

The workshop saw a remarkable attendance from students and faculty members, aligning with the Faculty’s continuous endeavor to enhance the scientific knowledge and practical application skills of its students, thus keeping pace with the latest developments in physical therapy and rehabilitation.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Mohamed Elshishtawy – Physical Therapy Consultant for the U-17 National Team – who discussed the latest techniques in the field of electrotherapy and their effective role in accelerating tissue healing and stimulating the recovery process, along with providing a practical demonstration of modern applications.

Electrotherapy is considered one of the most important modern trends in physical therapy, as it relies on the use of advanced currents and devices to stimulate tissues, reduce pain, and activate blood circulation to accelerate the healing process. This makes it one of the essential skills that physical therapy students must master to keep pace with professional and scientific development in this field.

حيث جاءت الورشة وسط حضور مميز من الطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس، في إطار سعي الكلية المستمر لتعزيز المعرفة العلمية والتطبيق العملي لدى طلابها، بما يواكب أحدث المستجدات في مجالات العلاج الطبيعي والتأهيل.

كما ألقى الورشة الدكتور/ محمد الششتاوي -استشاري العلاج الطبيعي للمنتخب القومي تحت ١٧ سنة- حيث تناول أحدث التقنيات في مجال العلاج الكهربي ودورها الفعّال في تسريع شفاء الأنسجة وتحفيز عملية التعافي، مع تقديم عرض عملي للتطبيقات الحديثة.

يُعدّ العلاج الكهربي (Electrotherapy) من أهم الاتجاهات الحديثة في مجال العلاج الطبيعي، إذ يعتمد على استخدام تيارات وأجهزة متطورة لتحفيز الأنسجة، تقليل الألم، وتنشيط الدورة الدموية بما يسرّع من عملية الشفاء، مما يجعله من المهارات الأساسية التي يجب على طلاب العلاج الطبيعي إتقانها لمواكبة التطور المهني والعلمي في هذا المجال.
