Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of procurement processes and market research.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be a resident of Tanta or nearby areas.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the purchasing department’s daily operations.
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of goods and services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with the university’s policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with related departments to maintain optimal stock.
  • Analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and alternative products.
  • Prepare and submit regular purchasing reports to management.
  • Resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, or quality of goods.
  • Lead and develop the purchasing team to enhance performance and efficiency.
