The visit was held under the patronage of:

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sakr -Chairman of the Board of Trustees-,

and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Sherif Abo El Saadat, -Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts-.

The initiative underscored the university’s dedication to its community service mission and its commitment to nurturing a sense of social awareness and empathy among its students.

The visit included a comprehensive tour of the center’s facilities, including training rooms, physiotherapy sections, classrooms, and activity studios, where the delegation observed the educational and developmental programs designed to empower children, enhance their learning experiences, and encourage their social inclusion.

During the visit, students from the Faculty of Applied Arts conducted two interactive art workshops with the children.

The first workshop focused on expressive painting and color creativity, while the second engaged participants in handicraft and simple design activities using recycled materials.

These creative sessions offered the children a meaningful opportunity to express themselves freely and joyfully, fostering a sense of confidence, positivity, and mutual connection between them and the university students.

في إطار الدور المجتمعي والتنموي الذي توليه جامعة السلام، وحرصها الدائم على خدمة المجتمع وتعزيز قيم المسؤولية الإنسانية والتكافل الاجتماعي،

نظّمت إدارة الأنشطة الطلابية بالتعاون مع كلية الفنون التطبيقية، زيارة ميدانية إلى مؤسسة الفلك لرعاية أطفال متلازمة داون،

وذلك تحت رعاية:

السيد الأستاذ الدكتور/ محمد عبدالخالق صقر -رئيس مجلس الأمناء-،

السيد الأستاذ الدكتور/ طارق محمدي خليفة -نائب رئيس مجلس الأمناء-،

السيد الأستاذ الدكتور/ عبدالفتاح صدقة -رئيس الجامعة-،

وبحضور السيد الأستاذ الدكتور/ شريف أبو السعادات -عميد كلية الفنون التطبيقية-.

جاءت الزيارة تأكيدًا على التزام الجامعة برسالتها في خدمة المجتمع وتنمية الوعي الإنساني لدى طلابها، حيث شملت جولة ميدانية لأقسام المركز المختلفة، من قاعات التدريب والعلاج الطبيعي إلى الفصول الدراسية وورش الأنشطة.

واطلع وفد الجامعة على البرامج التعليمية والتأهيلية التي يقدمها المركز، والتي تهدف إلى دمج الأطفال في المجتمع وتنمية قدراتهم الفكرية والحركية والإبداعية.

كما قدّم طلاب كلية الفنون التطبيقية خلال الزيارة ورشتين فنيتين تفاعليتين بمشاركة الأطفال؛ تناولت الأولى فن التلوين والرسم التعبيري بالألوان الزاهية، فيما ركزت الثانية على الحِرف اليدوية والتصميم البسيط باستخدام خامات معاد تدويرها،

مما أتاح للأطفال فرصة التعبير عن مشاعرهم بحرية وإبداع، وساهم في رفع معنوياتهم وتعزيز التواصل الإيجابي بينهم وبين طلاب الجامعة.
