The Faculty of Pharmacy, in cooperation with members of the Pharmacy Scientific Association student group, organized a field visit for students from both the “PharmD and PharmD-Clinical Pharmacy programs” to Baheya Hospital for early detection and treatment of breast cancer at its Sheikh Zayed branch in Cairo.

This visit aimed to encourage students to engage with the medical sector and deepen their understanding of clinical pharmacy practices. It included top-performing students from the early academic years, who made the most of this opportunity to learn from the real-world experiences offered by Baheya’s medical teams and facilities.

The visit also served to develop students’ practical skills and familiarize them with the latest treatment methods and healthcare technologies available for breast cancer patients broadening their academic and professional outlook for the future.

في خطوة متميزة تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون بين جامعة السلام ومؤسسات المجتمع المدني والمساهمة في تعزيز دور التعليم الطبي والتفاعل مع المجتمع المحلي.

نظمت كلية الصيدلة بالتعاون مع طلاب أسرة الجمعية العلمية في كلية الصيدلة زيارة ميدانية لعدد من الطلاب من البرنامجين “فارم دي” و”فارم دي – صيدلة إكلينيكية” إلى مستشفى بهية للكشف المبكر وعلاج سرطان الثدي للسيدات في القاهرة بفرع الشيخ زايد.

وتأتي هذه الزيارة ضمن إطار توجيه الطلاب نحو التفاعل مع القطاعات الطبية وتعميق فهمهم للممارسات الإكلينيكية في مجال الصيدلة. وشارك في الزيارة طلاب من أوائل الفرق الدراسية في كلية الصيدلة، الذين أبدعوا في استثمار الفرصة للتعلم من الخبرات العملية التي تقدمها مستشفيات ومراكز بهية الطبية،

وذلك بهدف تنمية مهارات الطلاب العملية وتعريفهم بأحدث تقنيات العلاج والرعاية الصحية المتوفرة لمرضى سرطان الثدي، مما يسهم في تطوير رؤيتهم الأكاديمية والمهنية في المستقبل.
