The lecture was presented by Prof.Dr. Hossam Abdelaty – Learning QA Center Maneger at the university and Professor of Oral and Dental Medicine – with the aim of clarifying the scientific foundations that ensure the preparation of accurate and effective specifications that contribute to raising the efficiency of the educational process and sustaining quality.

The lecture addressed the importance of describing programs and courses as one of the main pillars in the quality assurance system. These specifications serve as a reference document that defines the objectives, learning outcomes, and mechanisms for implementation and evaluation of the program or course, thereby achieving integration among the elements of the educational process.

The components of the academic program specification were reviewed, including graduate attributes, curriculum structure, admission and graduation requirements, and continuous development mechanisms.

As for the course specification, emphasis was placed on the necessity of clarity and measurability of learning outcomes, defining prerequisites, teaching and assessment strategies, in addition to identifying supporting learning resources.

The lecture concluded by confirming that program and course specifications represent a vital tool for monitoring the quality of education and guiding future development plans, which enhances the culture of continuous improvement within the Faculty and the University.

في إطار حرص كلية العلاج الطبيعي جامعة السلام على تعزيز جودة العملية التعليمية وتطوير ممارساتها الأكاديمية بما يتوافق مع معايير الاعتماد المؤسسي والبرامجي، عُقدت محاضرة بعنوان “كيفية توصيف المقررات والبرامج”و قدمها الأستاذ الدكتور/ حسام عبدالعاطي -مدير مركز ضمان جودة التعليم بالجامعة وأستاذ طب الفم والأسنان- ، بهدف توضيح الأسس العلمية التي تضمن إعداد توصيفات دقيقة وفاعلة تسهم في رفع كفاءة العملية التعليمية واستدامة الجودة.

تناولت المحاضرة أهمية توصيف البرامج والمقررات باعتباره أحد الركائز الرئيسة في منظومة ضمان الجودة، حيث يُعد التوصيف وثيقة مرجعية تحدد أهداف البرنامج أو المقرر ومخرجاته التعليمية وآليات تنفيذه وتقييمه، بما يحقق التكامل بين عناصر العملية التعليمية.

كما تم استعراض مكونات توصيف البرنامج الأكاديمي، وتشمل سمات الخريج، وهيكل المنهج، ومتطلبات القبول والتخرج، وآليات التطوير المستمر.

أما توصيف المقرر الدراسي، فتم التأكيد على ضرورة وضوح مخرجات التعلم وقابليتها للقياس، وتحديد المتطلبات السابقة، واستراتيجيات التعليم والتقييم، إلى جانب تحديد مصادر التعلم الداعمة.

واختُتمت المحاضرة بالتأكيد على أن توصيف البرامج والمقررات يمثل أداة حيوية لمتابعة جودة التعليم وتوجيه خطط التطوير المستقبلية، بما يعزز ثقافة التحسين المستمر داخل الكلية والجامعة.
