Job Description
- Assist the lab technician in completing the tasks of materials and equipment required for scientific experiments and all lab supplies from stores.
- The assistance of the laboratory technician in identifying the names of the materials in the laboratory in a clear handwriting according to the Arabized origins, indicating on them the warning signs (flaming poison….etc).
- Helps the lab technician complete the tasks
- Assists teaching assistants and assistant teachers in the scientific research process.
- Supervising all the department’s laboratory equipment and research laboratory.
- Supervising the maintenance of laboratory equipment and equipment and reporting any malfunctions.
- Performing other duties assigned to him in his field of work
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in faculty. Chemistry and Microbiology majors are preferred
- Previous university experience is preferred

Lab Manager
Job Description
- Prepares Labs Annual Requirement Plan (for Current and New Labs), including infrastructure, equipment, material, and safety equipment, according to the curriculums, and the estimate no. of students, and follow up its implementation.
- Coordinates equipment moves within/between labs, removal, storage, reuse, and recycling of equipment and consumables on a regular basis.
- Participates in the inspection and receiving processes for equipment and materials.
- Reviews equipment assessments and supervises equipment calibration and maintenance plan, and its implementation.
- Reviews safety documentation for hazardous procedures, and provides training and safety instructions to new users of laboratory.
- Assures operating procedures, and laboratory rules are implemented.
- Maintains and approves security clearance.
- Support research and the development of laboratory facilities by recommending equipment specification, liaison with, and obtaining quotes from suppliers.
- Assure proper cleaning procedures are applied after every lab session.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree. in science biology, chemistry, physics biochemistry or other health and science fields.
- Previous university experience is preferred
- Proven experience as a lab manager for more than 5 years.
- Excellent managerial skills.
- Very good at English language
- Ability to multitask.
- Expert knowledge of laboratory health and safety protocols.
